hey everyone! I just jumped into learning poi and hooping on my own and haven't even lit up yet! I am in West Chester, but love coming into the city. I am just looking to meet some new people and learn some techniques. If you know of anyone closer to WC please let me know, but would love to take part in some gatherings in philly.

    Megan,
come to the spin jam tomorrow (Sunday) and look out for future jams. All are welcome & knowledge flows freely so be prepared to share what you know and perhaps learn a few tricks from others.
    :)

I'm not sure there ended up being one after all...most of us had other commitments.

there was a small one, i was driving right past the area on 76 so stopped around 9/10 and the few people who were there were packing up because of mosquitos.

anyone know of fire safe bug repellants? LOL

Were no where near WC but we get together most Thursday's near the border of Bucks and Philly Co's. We are a group of mixed experience, some just started with in the past month and others have been doing this for years. I like our little group because we meet so regularly and everyone seems to practice in their down times we each bring new tricks and stuff each week that we have learned and everyone is totally willing to share. The problem we are currently facing is there are a lot of people coming each week and the space is getting small. It also doesn't help that some peeps from the neighborhood come by. Their not bad guys just gawkers. I think we may be moving to somewhere in the Northeast sometime in the near future. I also think that Erin (aka Evil Twin) was talking about getting together on Wednesday in Clark Park at 43rd and Baltimore (I think) hit her up. The nice weather makes it easier to do stuff like this.
