Increase your performance fees accordingly, to reflect your own increased costs. (Even if that means charging only a few dollars more.) :o)

I purchased it 2 days ago at the new super walmart in Dresher/Willow grove area (Montco). I know its not close, but there were at least 5 containers of it when I went.

I've come to realize, since white gas prices are going up and becoming more rare, that the hippies had it right all along. take cheap cloth, and set it on fire. it also hurls flames at unsuspecting audience members, making them feel like more of the show. it also brings about the bright lights of police officers, and their sirens. creating a rave like atmosphere of shock and awe. works best when you don't have insurance and momma denise isn't around.

other green fuel ideas include dead babies, overtly dramatic posts dealing with a) transformus tickets, b) shit that happened at wicker man, or c) whether nick woolsey is gay or not (he's not.), mike icons sweat, alien jons hat, old circles of light dvds, and any article of clothing chad bennet wore at last springs wildfire.

Just for the record, KMart in Phily DOES sell White Gas. Check the Kmart at 9th and Market. Was there the other day and they are fully stocked (though priced at $9)

lucky- i believe it's still $6 at my walmart... if you want me to do shopping for conclave just holler. (though i may end up missing the next practice, i should be at the 3 after that.)

my offer is really open to anyone, if we are headed to the same place/time and you want me to get some fuel. cuz jersey fuel tastes better, just like our bagels, right??? ;o)

This might be a silly question, but what is the shelf life of white fuel. Should I go buy out my local walmart and stock it? Prices are currently 6.00 at wally world but if they are going up to 9 i'll go clean em out.

MadHatter, Depends on how much you are planning to buy. If you are buying 2 gallons, I'd say the savings insn't thata big of deal. If you are buying 10 gallons, it might just beb worth it. If you don;t mind stocking that fuel, I'd say go for it. Gas prices are only going up these days.

              Just spin with kero!

It's cheaper, burns longer, and you don't have to worry about audience members sneaking into your fuel dump because they won't be able to find it through the impenetratable walls of smoke. It also keeps the bugs away on long summer nights, as well as anything else that might come within a 20' radius of your spin area. Not to mention it gets you a seat in any diner; just walk in with a few folks who have been spinning kero all night and tables open up left and right as patrons flee in horror.

Remember, there's no better way to really get an audience involved in your show and give them something to remember over the next few days then to cause them to cough up horrible black ick! Respiratory involvement is just another form of audience participation!

I concur Lucas, prefer the dead babies as well. I think the burn is superior to white gas. Even better for that dramatic effect is live flaming babies. They flailing dose wonder for your preformance. Just make sure you have really loud music to mask the screaming.

FYI Andy. I found white gas @ the KMart near Cottman and the Blvd. It 's not too far from my house. I just bought some last night and there was plenty there. It was like $10.

hmm... altho if you have the right music, a dead babies cries will ADD to the entire performance.. you may also be able to sell tickets to a raffle if you play your cards right. the winner being a person who gets a free baby limb for dinner when it flies off.
unfortunatly over here in Rockland,NY. white gas has already been an painful 9bucks. and now i am eternally jealous. good thing im moving in with my Girlfriend. shee going to drexel next semester.
