New to the area and badly in need of fire!
We (Dusky and I) have just moved to Philly, and really really want to light up this weekend. Is there any event, setting, or environment where lit spinning is possible?

Any other cool stuff happening around town tonight/Friday/Saturday? We're staying in town for the long weekend, and would love to hang out and make new friends here or strengthen contacts with people we already know. -

Fri, July 4, 2008 - 7:43 AMactuallllly yes. tonight a bunch of us are going to go see the fireworks at the art museum, followed by a gathering at the bohemian (above time restaurant at 1315 sansom st.) there's no cover, and it's absynthe lounge style, i believe.
and tomorrow is the playloop monthly at the m-room at 15 W. Girard Ave (between front st. and frankford ave). a bunch of us will be out in full force shakin' our asses til we get sent home at 2 am.
this is a good weekend to be here.... buncha great stuff goin' on :) -
